How to choose your wedding venue

Many Brides have a vision of there perfect wedding venue from a very young age, but finding somewhere that can live up to them years of expectations can be harder than you think.

Reception & ceremony. There are in most cases 2 main parts of every wedding, the ceremony and the reception and this can often involve finding different venues or a venue capable of holding both.  For people with religious beliefs this can be an easy discussion as often there will be a family church or local temple that would always make the obvious choice. In this case, its easier to  plan the reception around the ceremony location. Things such as transport must be thought about as long travel can be very difficult for an entire wedding party and there guests.

If, on the other hand, your not thinking about a church wedding your options may be wide open and you have the option of choosing a venue that will host both your wedding ceremony and your wedding reception. This can have some big advantages and even save you money on things such as transport. It also opens the styles up and there are endless choices such as hotels, castles, open gardens and much more. The venue will however have to be licensed for marriage and this can often come at a price.

How many guests?
Your venue will very much depend on how many guests you plan on having. While it may sound obvious if you plan on having 200 guests in a small registry office your going to run into some problems and most will have a limet to how many they will allow at any given wedding.  You need to have an idea of your numbers before you start looking for your venue.

Sit down meal or buffet? A sit down wedding breakfast will obviously need much more space than a  buffet, so a venue whose seated capacity is 100 might well be able to accommodate 200 for a buffet or simple disco.

Entertainment: Many venues will insist on using in house djs or bands. This is often expensive and may not be what you want.

What matters to you?
The perfect wedding venue is different for every single one of us and choosing yours means you need to work out what matters to you. Try writing out a list of things you must have from your venue, one for things you would like to have and a list for things you do not want to have. While you may find a few compromises are needed to tick all the boxes this sets you in a good way to start with.

  1. As budget and location is exactly most important to consider in choosing a wedding venues. Just because it is after wedding occasion, it shouldn’t be taken for granted. The los angeles wedding location is a part of the wedding with great memories at very low rates.
